Change clock layout for home screen and handling of mobile data quick setting

I had the Z3 previously, and i have just got the XZ which is fabulous, but a couple of features I would like to have the option to restore to Z3 functioning.

First off, the home screen clock widget. Never been a fan of the Sony clock layout, you allow us to change it for the lock screen, please let us change it for the home screen too.

The pull down menu at the top, some people might like the way it is for turning on/off the data with the usage view, i prefered the simple one touch of Z3 and would appreciate a setting to change this.

Lastly, when data is off we now have this x above the signal bars, but on the Z3 you only have this when you had no service, i find it confusing and pointless as it displays the 4G above the bars when it is on, if other people like this, the option to not display that would be great.

All in all, so far i'm loving the phone, and I'm a big fan of Sony products not just phones, so please, provide the users with more options to have what is needed displayed. Thanks 🙂

Hi @Rae77, I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying your new Xperia XZ!

It is possible to add another clock widget on the home screen if you're not so fond of the default one. Simply tap and hold your finger on an empty space on the home screen, then tap on "Widgets" when it appears at the bottom of the display. If you scroll to the side there is a category called "Clocks" where you have some different kinds of looks to choose from.

I appreciate your feedback regarding mobile data settings, I'll make sure to forward this as user feedback.
