Any Type-C to microUSB adapter works for USB flash drive?

I have brought a USB flash drive with microUSB from Sony (USM32SA1 ) when I am using Xperiz Z5Compact. After I brought the Xperia ZX Premium, I have tried some adapter that can sync data on my computer but when I used that with USM32SA1 on my Xperia ZX Premium, it does not detect any external USB device. Is there any adapter that can be used for the Xperia ZX Premium?

I've captured some USB-C cables and adapters in the following post.

The specific adapter which will give you ability to plug in a flash drive (USB A plug) is the Anker USB-C to USB 3.1 Adapter - Short [13cm] which gives the USB-C equivalent of 'old' USB 2 On The Go functionality.
