Z5 compact. WHEN CALL COMES DURING CHARGE. Charging stops.

I HAVE BEEN USING Z5 COMPACT FOR 4 MONTHS NOW. Using latest firmware. I have been noticing everytime when a call comes during charging the phone. The charging stops and I have to plug off and plug in again to the charging to continue normally.

I have heard from many people experiencing this same bug?
Anyway to fix this bug?

When will this bug be fixed by sony??

Hi @Vasanth77, I'm sorry to hear about this.

I just tested this on a Xperia Z5 Compact with the latest software installed and the phone did not stop to charge when a call came in to the phone.

Does the phone stop to charge when you answer the call or just when it starts to ring in your phone? If you place a call while the phone is charging does the charging stop?

Are you charging your phone using a wall socket or a USB port? If you are using a wall socket, could you please try and see if the same thing happens using a USB port or the other way around.

I would recommend that you reboot your phone in safe mode. Does the phone stop to charge when rebooted in safe mode?

THE CHARGING DOES NOT NOT STOP COMPLETELY .

THE CHARGING SYMBOL IS THERE. BUT THE CHARGING TAKES LIKE MORE THAN 5 HOURS TO COMPLETE IF ANY CALL COMES INBETWEEN THE CHARGE.

IT CHARGES AT THE RATE OF 1 % FOR 10 MINS.

TO BRING IT BACK TO NORMAL.

I NEED TO PLUG OUT AND IN AGAIN . OR DISCONNECT THE CHARGER FROM WALL MOUNT AND CONNECT AGAIN .

Was there any difference when the phone was rebooted in safe mode?

I would recommend that you try with another original charger and/or cable if you have the possibility to do that.
