z5 compact dark screen on calls

Bought the phone 2 days ago and I've been experiancing a serious problem since I updated to the latest version (32.0A.6.200).

When answering to or making calls the screen will go dark when making or reciving a call and will stay that way until the other side hangs up (since I can't do anythin with the dark screen). Here are the things I've checked:

1) Diagnostics of proximity sensors are fine.

2) Screen protector on\off has no effect on the issue.

and as I've seen I'm not the only one experiancing this problem, but I did not find an actuall solution in other threads. What are my options?

@hluzdun Other thing you can check is InCallUI app under settings-apps-all and see if it is set to show notifications.

Go to service menu (dial this number Enter the following code *#*#7378423#*#*) go to service tests > proximity switch. to test your proximity switch- press the top-right side of your phone slighty (above the digital clock).

My z5 compact has the same issues, but the phone works fine in safe mode. Any suggestions as to the cause/way ahead?

I have now found its an Android app called Alarm Clock Extreme from the play store. It's no longer installed and the phone is fine now.
