Xperia Z3+ E6553 Bluetooth Car Audio auto connect issues

Here is a video of what is happening after the phone has been successfully paired and I get into the car (should auto connect just as my Z3 did but it doesnt) this is what keeps happening until I turn the bluetooth off and on the phone. As you can see half way through the video.

Xperia Z3+ Bluetooth issue 05 Acura TL: https://youtu.be/RSl6HHuFbug

I already did a factory reset did not resolve the issue (factory reset not repair on PC companion). I know the Bluetooth has been updated from the Z3 but would it cause this? Running all the same apps as I did on the Z3. I erased all the other paired devices that were stored in the cars Bluetooth system. Have no idea why this is happening. Considering it connects after I turn Bluetooth off and on on the phone I'm beginning to think it's a software issues.

Plz help this phone absolutely rocks I just gotta get this working as the Z3 did.

Thank you

It may just be a compatibility issue with the car. Turning the bluetooth off and on may be the way to get it to connect as annoying as it is that's the way it work in my car as well.

Yeah it's made me think it was the phone but considering it's the only Bluetooth device (car) I'm having issues with capability is sounding about right. Wish there was a solution its annoying as **bleep**.

Ended up doing the repair process with PC companion but the problem still persists. I ran the diagnostics that Sony Xperias come with and all tests passed except for the flash for some weird reason the flash works during pictures and flash light mode just strange it don't kick on during the flash test.

Back to the Bluetooth is it possible the phone might have a hardware issue ? I hate to think that but this Bluetooth thing is extremely frustrating as mentioned it just keeps going back and forth, connected then disconnected. Turning the Bluetooth on and off aids the problem but its strange it sometimes does, right when I turn Bluetooth back on and sometimes it persists until I turn off and on again.

Hi,

I'm not too sure if this can be a compatibility issue with that car kit, but thats most likely the case; because i see some older phones as well which is not working properly on that carkit.

You may try to check this forum for Acura owner.

Thank you for the info after lots of testing it turns out that the phones Bluetooth has a delay on it when it comes to the Bluetooth on most devices when paired and you try to connect from device like car or headphones it takes a bit longer to catch then the Z3 did. Communicating with the retailer now to get a phone swap done. Hope it was just bad luck and the new one will do the trick.
