My phone shut down and I can't get it to power on. I've tried plugging it into the computer but it can't even be detected. I just bought this phone two days ago, I'm very disappointed, this is the second Sony phone I've bought. The first was the Z and after a few months of owning the touch screen stopped working all together. And yes I've also tried volume up/power on and little red button the Z2.
You tried everything, next step is taking it to Sony repair centre or to your retailer to exchange it :smileysmileywink:

Maybe the battery got disconnected from inside. Just blame Sony and get a new device under warranty since it's only 2 days old.
Be persistent so they have to listen to you
Oh don't worry I'll be quite persistent.. Especially since this is my second Sony phone that decided it didn't want to work after a very short amount of time. As much as I hate Apple.. I've had an iPhone 4 for over 3 years now and it's missing about 50% of the glass on it, but it still works just as good as the day I bought it. If this phone continues to act like they have, as much as I don't want to I might have to go the iPhone way..
