Xperia Z1 problem with sd card

I HAVE PROBLEM WITH MY SD CARD , I HAVE THE PHONE MANY MONTHS NOW AND 3 DAYS AGO THE OPTION FOR THE SD CARD BECAME GREY AND IT CAN NOT READ IT. I ALREADY TRY TO RE-BOOT THE PHONE AND TAKE OUT & IN THE SD CARD BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. PLEASE HELP...I HAD MANY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS IN THERE AND I DON'T WANT TO LOSE THEM..I ALREADY SEND AN EMAIL RAGERDING MY PROBLEM TO SONY BUT STILL WAITING FOR A REPLAY.. 😞 THANKS.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

It's hard to say exactly what may have happened but I suggest that you try inserting the SD in an SD reader and check if your able to explore the SD card content on a computer. If not the SD card has probably gone corrupt and may have to be formatted which would result in losing all the data on the card.
