Wifi doesn't connect after android 6 update

Hi!

I have a Z3c and my friend has Z3 and Z4 tablet We also have the same type of router (Genexis Platinum-4440).

The wifi connection worked fine with these phones for about a year (earlier android versions). But the minute we installed android 6 the problem started. (I even downloaded the update package using the the wifi.) After the update phone tries connecting to wifi-network but after a while it says: ip-configuration error.

I have tried to reset network settings but it didn't help. I tested with a nother router that the phones wifi works. But changing my genexis router to another is a tricky problem and after all it worked fine with earlier android version so my point of view the problem is in the phones operating system. Also the new update to phone didn't fix the problem (phone says that the newest version is build 23.5.A.0.575)

my xperia is z3 dual 

what i did is i swiched the 2 sim cards.

sim1 in slot 2 and sim 2 I put in slot 1

I am having an issue as well since the most recent patch for Marshmallow build version 23.5.A.1.291.

Since updating WiFi will not even turn on, all I get is a screen saying 'turning on'.

Starting in Safe Mode makes no difference and I have used PC Companion to perform a repair to no avail. When I run the diagnostic test for WiFi it says it passes.

All very frustrating, I love this phone but I have had so many problems with Sony Software updates I fell like giving up, Sony wonders why it is haemorrhaging Smartphone customers - great hardware but poor software and customer experience...

The problem is still there.

There's been couple updates but those didn't fix the problem.

I have also tried the software repair and even that didn't help.
