Hi, since the last update 23.4.A.1.232 on my Z3, whatsapp web stopped working correctly. If I keep the phone in stand-by, after 10 minutes or so, the app stop to communicate with the world. That means that I will not recieve any notification about incoming messages unless I turn on the screen. Otherwise, if I use whatsapp only, it works just fine.
Activating the account syncing doesn't change anything, sadly, and I'm not using stamina mode.
This happens both with wi-fi, 2G/3G.
That's strange, you can try to reset stamina like this: first make sure it is disabled, go to settings-apps-all, look for stamina app, force stop and clear data. Restart your device.
But this should not happen if you don't have stamina on.
Nothing changed resetting the stamina mode /:
Nope.
settings > about phone > status > signal > what do you see? do you have any cleanmasters, antivirus, taskillers, data apps?
Under settings > about phone > status > SIM Status says; Signal strenght: -103dB 1 asu, can't find any settings > about phone > status > signal |:
I don't have any cleanmasters, antivirus, taskillers, data apps or so. Also, background data limitation is not active at all, neither for whatsapp, and my issue happens even on wifi...
@uliwooly
I've done the repair illustrated in this article: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Ion/Detailed-Software-Repair-Instructions-using-Pc-Companion-Wi...
Using a new google account, with no configuration keeping, no application exept stocks and whatsapp, and the problem keep existing. So, I think I'm gonna blame 23.4.A.1.232, 'cause this problem popped out after that.
Someone knows how to do a downgrade? (Using PCC, or without freaking out the warranty, I hope) I don't even know which firmware I need to search, 'cause, I think, there was two update in the last two weeks, and I think I'm gonna look for the version previous those two update. Was that 5.0.2? @@
