I also would like to buy a X compact with official IP cetification (buying in Sweden), so I can claim waterproofness on warranty but accroding to GSMarena, it seems like I have to step up (both in physical size and prize) to either XZ or X performance to get IP68, but then I loose FM radio, which I also want.
I also guess that the X compact is the same in Japan as in rest of the world but the difference is the "warranty", not the waterproofness as such, but I can not be sure...
