Very slow Charge time for xperia z2

i noticed that charging time for z2 is very slow !!

anybody has the same ?

any suggestions?

i am using the original cable which comes out of the box .

Are you using the origonal charger or a 3rd party or via a computer USB port

Are you charge your phone when it is off. It's much faster then.

It is a slightly bigger battery than the Z1 and if you are using the magnetic charger or USB thru your computer it does take longer than using the designated wall charger, if my Z2 was on say 15% it takes a good few hours for it to recharge to 100%whilst leaving the Z2 switched on, as mentioned if it is turned off it charges a bit quicker :smileysmileywink:

Hi, I recently purchase my Xperia Z2, and charge it last night, it took me like 5 hours to fully charge the phone, Im using the original charger and the original USB cable, is this normal or my phone has an issue?

Hi, this could be because it is a new phone/battery......if mine is sitting at say 15% it does take a good few hours to get up to 100%.....

Do you leave the phone switched on during charging...if so check what apps etc are using the most power....top of the list should be your screen but look for abnormally high usage from an app etc

My previous Z2 took hours to charge. My new one charges a lot quicker and the battery seems to hold its charge more. I'm using the same cables so I guess it's a difference with the phone/battery

I have the same problem too... using the original adapter and cable. Some times it took about 3 hours to charge from 25% to 100%, some time it took about 6 hours.
