Sony ION Display broken

Hi Team,

i have Sony ION Phone with me. unfortunatly its display got broken. i logged a call with Call centre and reached service centre. service centre cordinator without taking case , directly informed me that it will cost 12thousands rupees. 

i would get new ION mobile itself for 15k on Ebay, then why should i pay such a hefty amount. there are many mobiles with good config at market now for that price.

Sad thing for me is when i bought it i paid hefty amaount and now that display broken, i cant use it. and cant event repair it. it does not make a sence to pay 12 thousand rupees and us this mobile. when i can get same config new mobile by adding few repees more.

it breaks my heart seing this mobile idle and cannot be put in use at all.

I called the 1800 .. number they suggested me to visit service centre. now i am back to 0, where i started. becouse i have already visted service cntre.
