Seriously, Battery Perf on 5zC

Seriously, what's wrong with the Z5 compact? the Z3 compact was a longhaul wonder but I had to upgrade, since the back cover piece of "glass" was so fragile, it broke several times without much or any force exposed to it. Exchanging it anyway never got it waterproof again.

But the longer the more updates are coming to the Z5 compact, the less it's battery holds and I only got it since March this year!
I make it barely through the day on one charge with 1h of screen on time max!

As you can see in the attached screenshots today it's down to below 30% at 3 o'clock in the afternoon after disconnecting it from the charger this morning at 8 o'clock and I haven't used it much since... 15 minutes of listening to music, occational web searches and e-mail reading. I'm on the latest official Marshmallow (32.2.A.0.253), no root, no bl unlock, all stock! it's been fully wiped already recently due to having to send it in for a warranty repair, since the camera malfunctioned badly.

sorry for venting a bit...

cheers

Hey. My slope looks like yours.

I went and bought a power pack recently. That was my solution to this problem...

My other Sony phone was an X10Mini ages ago... so this battery life was a God send.

What is the voltage of your fully charged battery? You can check it with Ampere or CPU-Z?

It should range from 4.2 to 4.4 tops for a healthy LIPO. Otherwise is depleted.

It could charge up to 4.2 but be depleted anyway: to get a sense of it you could connect the wall charger to a probe e and measure how many mAh it used. It is just a rough estimate but should give you an idea.

To be sure about mAh you could try with an RC LIPO hobby charger or an Usb probe.

If the glass broke without any force your phone LIPO could be "puffed" and explode.

I have seen it happen once at the RC field: LIPO batteries hold a lot of energy in a tiny space and the sudden discharge may be hard to deal with.
