SD Card no longer recognised

Hiya pals,

So today I noticed the SD card is no longer being detected in my Z1 Compact. I've tried the card in a friend's phone and it fine.

I updated to 4.4.4. a couple of days ago so it's possible it might have stopped working after the update.

Has anyone else experiences this?

That sounds odd. Do you have the possibility to try with another SD card in your Xperia Z1 Compact?

I don't know anyone else with one. I tried it in my friend's Galaxy S4 and it worked fine.

Try another card in your phone. I have one SD card that work fine on my laptop but suddenly disappears on Z2 tablet. All other SD cards are working fine.
