screen issue for Xperia MK16i

MY sceen is blank when the back cover is on but I can still answer calls. When I apply pressure/press to the battery the screen returns to a blank screen. This Sony Xperia Pro, M16ki is only a year only and I purchased this phone because I own a older song phone and it lasted 5 years.
please help
