Problem with Wifi Pairing

Hey guys 

I can't seem to pair my Z2 with my CPU over wifi. USB connectivity is working fine though.

It always get stuck when it says installing phone/tablet.

Anyone has any idea how to solve this issue?

I tried relaunching PC Companion in administrator mode, didn't seem to help.

I managed to get through the pairing stage, just had to keep the phone unlocked, and be patient, the program goes non-responsive, but came back after several minutes.

Got stuck again in the next step.  I followed directions, found my PC in the USB Connectivity menu, under Wireless Media Transfer.  I've tried connecting three times, and the phone keeps timing out while attempting to connect.

The PC Software doesn't do anything.  It just sits there waiting for a connection to show up.

I'm running Windows 8.1 x64, Sony PC Companion 2.1, and Xperia Z2 with software version 17.1.A.2.55

i hag similar issue fixed that after reset/deleted all data 

so u need to update your firmware
