I have a sony z5 compact and use the phonepad keyboard with predictive text which works in all applications eg calendar entries, except when using the internet. For example, if I type 'hello' in the calendar, it works fine, but if I type it into google, a load of randon letters & numbers show up. If I turn off the predictive text, it is possible to enter letters in the old-fashioned way eg press the 'GHI' key 3 times to get an 'I'.
Any ideas?
