Phone shutting down

Hi guys
My phone reaches 50% then shuts down or reboots, when it reaches 35% it shuts down completely. Its been doing that for the past two days, i tried a soft reset and rebooting in safe mode, does anyone have any idea what may cause this before i do a factory reset or perform a software repair. Could a virus on my phone be the cuase of this

You could test it on >>> safe mode if it's caused by a third party app, you shouldn't experience this while on safe mode

Hi @Ebie,

You noted that you already tested it in safe mode. If it's still occurring in safe mode then the next thing to try is a software repair.

Hi guys, sorry couldnt reply to any of your responses. I had to send my fone for repairs and i have still no joy there, apparently my fone shows signs of a water indicator active and vodacom doesnt want to repair it, this cause it supposed to be a water resistant fone. this is the second time my fone had to go for repairs, the first time a got a replacement unit and now they refuse to do anything to repair or replace my device. yea so that was my last sony device ever, i used to enjoy this fone but now i am so disppointed with this brand.
