Hi,

My xperia J is currently playing up the battery all of a sudden started draining really quickly so i bought a new battery fitted it and charged everything seemed better for a day or two. but now the phone switches its self off at 30% life every time and i can only switch it back on when the charger is plugged in, it charges to 100% very quickly but then starts draining quickly even with the new battery??  any ideas??  everything else on the phone is working perfectly.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

You can check what is draining the battery if you go to settings > power management > battery/battery usage. 

If can't find anything that stands out, I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:
