Phone can't be repaired

hi, i have dead Z3 since 4 months ago.

i've go to sony service center and asked for repaired, but the service center said that my phone can not be repaired and must replace the engine. but I still could not change theengine,  because the warranty has expired. and I have not got a solution for my Z3. Is there any solution? Thanks..

This is a user based forum, so there's limited things that can be suggested, if it's hardware related only his Local support can help him with.

I'm sorry to hear about your issue, you probably meant to say the motherboard? if so, that's the most expensive part of the phone.

The phone can be repaired, it might be something lost in translation, but if they said the "engine" has to be replaced, I'm assuming he meant the motherboard, so the phone can be repaired but it won't be covered by warranty as it has expired.

In other words, the phone can be repaired, but the motherboard can't.

Than i believe you should have said: "there is no solution besides changing motherboard". Anyway annoying thing is not the tell people to go service, saying it when people actually contacted already. Anyway no need to discuss it here.

It's complicated to suggest anything since it's not clear what the issue is, I know that it might annoying to contact the Xperia Support if you already did and had a bad experience but a user based forum might not be the way to go if the problem it's a hardware issue.

truely i ve asked to buy "the engine" ( maybe motherboard) but the local support said that i can't buy it because my waranty was expired. And now my Z3 just like an ornament in my desk..

The motherboard it's the most expensive part of the phone, it will cost you almost the same as a new phone.
