No Mobile Internet (new SIM)

I received from my provide a new sim-card with some enhanced  NFC option . . 

After installing the SIM I finally could pay contactless with my mobile phone and the proper wallet app . . . but my mobile data is not working anymore . .  >> i can make phone calls and receive them - but no Internet

When I place the same SIM in a Samsung, the phone works, so WITH mobile data

the Sony is a Z5 with the latest Android 6.0.1

Please any tips ??

Some carriers require that you register the IMEI number with their database, you might want to double check with them.

did you configure your APN settings?

settings>more>internet settings

if there are more than 1 setting downloaded

settings>more>mobile network>access point names> select one

make sure your mobile network toggle is on

also selecting one network type (lte only or wcdma only) will help connect to mobile data service

Do you by chance have another SIM you could test with, rather than putting your current SIM in another device, it is always best to test the device with another SIM card first.
