Next Problem... The signal

Hello Support,
Today I got the new Sim card for my xa.
So I put it in the phone and I notice that the signal is poor. Directly compared with the xperia l from my girlfriend (same provider of COURSE) the signal is not halve so good. More than 4 dB! Signal strength difference! In the house the signal is so weak, that I even can't do a call, where the xperia l is at full range! If I move a little bit, the signal grows! I'm talking about less then have a meter! GSM settings are correct! Any suggestions, or need I bring it to service?

Greetings

Yeah does seem to be related to only American mobile networks. I know they work differently to the UK.

I have had my XA Ultra for about 1 month now.  The signal strength is horrible.  I cannot talk on my phone at work in my office. My old Sony Ultra Z had no problems with this.  Because of the type of work I do, I need to answer my cellphone at all times.  I loved my Sony Ultra Z, but if the screen crack it's no good. I thought the XA Ultra would be a good upgrade, but now it got signal issues.  I think I am going to Samsung. It's ashame. All my gadgets are Sony. I camera is beautiful when it works right.  It is a bit glicthy too.

hi. me and my boyfriend purchased xperia xa 2 weeks ago and we've noticed that the signal is very poor, if not, its completely out. what we normally do is to turn off and on the device which solves the issue. . we are using the same network provider of course and we never had any signal issues using our old mobile phones. we let it pass for the past few days considering that it could be a network problem but its starting to annoy us already because we are not receiving each other's phone call and messages and we have to keep on rebooting our phone couple of times a day just to get a signal. we tried to transfer our simcard back to our old phones with no signal issue at all. is it a known issue with xperia XA? pls reply we are in the philippines. thankyou.

Hi. I have a problem with my new Xperia xa, it suddenly drops its network signal every now and then. I needed to restart the phone for it to get back the signal, so frustrating 😤. I just bought it last week.. I hope this support forum can help me with this before I take it to the service center
