My M5 Dead Pixel

Hi..i'm from Malaysia and i really do like xperia phones..its about 2 weeks im using new xperia m5. I've got little problem with this phone.

1. My phone always turned off automatically when i'm using mobile internet and even when its idle.

2. Just this evening, when i finished charged, i open it and it become dead pixel..more like 'search channel at television'..i'm just shocked and i can't even use this phone..even i restarted, it happened the same..never dropped before and i just used about 2 weeks..please help me.

I am sorry to hear that.

The phone can restart itself if you have a faulty SIM-card or memory card. Try to insert your SIM-card/memory card again to see if your phone still restarts, you can also try with a new SIM-card. 

The dead pixel needs to be investigated in an authorized service center. For more information contact your local support.

Patrick, the dead pixel issue seems more memory corruption than anything else. The effect like old crt TV is called garbage, it happen when the ram is compromised/damage.

It could be a fault software wise, but if the issue is what I think it can be responsible for the shut down and the display garbage. Op can try a software repair but ifl that don't work then the next step is to contact local support.
