Any real world experience whether  the DK39 magnetic dock work with the Sony Xperia Z2 phone?

Xperia Z2 is thicker than Z2 Tablet and won't fit in DK39. DK39 is only compatible with Z2 Tablet & Z3 Tablet Compact
