Greetings everybody!
A couple days back my xperia z3 started to charge really slowly through the magnetic port and after a full night charge would only manage to charge the phone to 65% capacity, i searched few forums and people were having this issue on lollipop and were blaming the software but i currently have marshmallow and it just started to act out recently so some issue with the software was not on my mind, then i decided to restart my phone while ot was charging in hopes of solving the problem but to my amazement, all buttons on the right side of the phone stopped responding and the only way i could use the phone was by double-tapping it. Did a soft reset and took a sigh of relief as the buttons came back to life but it still charged slowly. I then charged the phone to 100% with the USB cable and decided to do a factory to see of there might be an app causing this, the battery was around 70%.after the factory i quickly plug in the magnetic cable and to my joy it was charging the way it used to, checked the amps frm ampere app. I let it charge fully and after some use when i decide to charge it again at around 30% its still the same, charging slowly and again if i take it to high percentage through USB which charges normally,the magnetic side works okay! What do you people think the issue is, is it the cable or the software or the port?! Plz do reply!
