loose back panel

Phone bought yesterday, updated to Marshmallow, configured, few calls.No more than 12 hours of working (incl.night) and... back panel is loose.... Anyone else here suffers that?

Are you saying that the update created this hardware issue?

One thing I would say,during the update process my phone got really hot and I mean mega hot. That may have caused the adhesive to loosen on your device. I'm not saying that this could be the cause but it may have been a contribution to the cause o db your problem. It's the only thing I can think of that could have caused the problem.

So I just purchase my Z5 compact 2 weeks ago

and I would like to share if this is normal

cause awhileago I'm checking my Z5C when I notice there's a small dust overneath

which I can't remove with my bare fingertip together with that

I'm curious with that "Black space" on the Top side and  right side of my Z5 compact,

What I did is grab a short bond paper and try if the Tip of the edge of the paper will shoot

at the top side where that 1 dust is located, well it shoots in and removes it.

So what I'm questioning is, is this Normal? I try googling some rear glass of the Z5C and noticed some has it too

while others has that small space on the bottom side and right side;

I never drop my phone yet,over charge, and submerge/spill water on it ,as for the span of 2 weeks, I really taken care of my my Z5 compact;

What I'm worryis what If I decided to spill it up with Tap water, I'm afraid it might get inside and broke the chips in it

as I know Sony doesn't handle water damage phones.

On the right side of my Z5 front I have a gap top right that gathers dust and stuff but I rinse my phone under the tap all the time and it's been submerged for 15 min and it's absolutely fine.

phew! I thought it's serious and not normal, cause I'm watching several youtube videos about the Z5 compact and noticed they have the gap too.

honestly I already notice this when I bought it
but I firstly though it's just a shadow or reflection kind of thing until some dust get in it and remove it by paper,well thanks 92 for making me CALM ABOUT THIS. Kudos for you.

No problem. My back panel also has gaps top left the same side as the Screen. Think it's just how it is
