IS there a Magnetic Usb cable

HI Guys, i have purchased a Sony Xperia Z2, love the phone its great!
Question tho, is there a official Magnetic Sony USB charge cable??

I am aware of the DK36 and i have one, but with the case and tempered glass screen protector the phone will not fit into the cradle so im after another solution to use the magnetic connector to help protect the integrity of the waterproof flaps.

 Z1 cables are fine, they have the same magnetic ports

Hi, been asked before so do a search on the forum.....not looked at your links but i know on eBay there are a lot of various cables/chargers etc......there is also a small 'port' that you can get that basically just fits onto the magnetic dock on the phone & you use the supplied Sony USB cable that came with the phone/mains charger :smileysmileywink:

Was told Z1 ones are slightly smaller. I am using a third party type manufactured in China. So far it seems to charge faster than DK36.

Yes, DK36 does tend to charge the Z2 much slower than the standard wall charger......i wonder if you used the 'port' i've seen on eBay along with the USB cable & wall charger if it would charge at the same rate......:smileyconfused:

I am yrying to get one but the price is quite expensive. It's made for Z2 where you can plug your usb cable to the magnetic adaptor.

Now i like the look of that 

Similiar to the eBay one i've seen but prob better quality.......i have never had problems on any of my Z series with the flaps so a bit wary using/getting a magnetic port especially as i've seen quite a few posts on here about the actual charging port coming loose on the side of the Z2

Get the magnetic dock charger.. It's great.

The official cable is called EC21 magnetic cable.But I did not get it from ebay,I have chosen a 3rd party magnetic cable.
