Deleting unwanted Apps on M4

My M4 comes with a HUGE range of Apps, many of which I don't want, but I gather, some of cannot, which is a shame! I haven't tried deleting any yet, but I get the impression that you have to delete these one at a time. Is that correct, because I hope it isn't the case!

I would have thought that a Sony smartphone (if it IS smart!) comes pre-installed on it, an App that JUST lists the Apps which CAN be deleted, beside which are 'Tick-Boxes' so you select what you don't want, and the App then automatically deletes them for you.

Does the Sony A4 Aqua have such an App, and if not, has anyone produced an App which works on this smartphone in the way I have just described?

Unfortunately, you can only disable inbuilt apps without having the option to remove them. There is also an app called debloater, that can help you freeze them. To be able to fully remove them, you need root access.

As of right now, the only way to root this phone is by unlocking the bootloader, NOT recommended

I realise you can disable Apps that cannot be deleted, (but as far as I know a list doesn't exist of which these are!) unless someone here knows which ones these are ...  BUT, going back to the subject of those you CAN delete, does anyone do an App, that lists the Apps you CAN delete? That would make everyone's life a of a lot easier!

Usually users post at the XDA forum a list of apps that can be uninstalled

I would have thought, Sony knows very well what pre-installed apps cannot be deleted, but can't be 'Bothered' to list which ones they are ... After all, it must be one  of a lot smaller list, than that of those you can!

Not quite, preloaded apps vary per region, in some regions you can uninstall a preinstalled antivirus but in others you can't, there are multiple variants per region/country.

Hello Sony community. To be honest i'm sad because I want to remove bloatware from my Sony Xperia M4 Aqua - 8GB. Why Sony is doing this?? For what?? This bloatware makes my Aqua M4 totally useless....

For example I don't need apps like:

AVG trial antivirus (Useless)

PS Video (I don't have Playstation)

Movie Creator (Useless)

Sketch (Why????? Useless for me)

File Commander (Useful)

What's New (Useless)

AR effect (Useless)

Xperia Keyboard (i'm using SwiftKey)

Music (Useless)

Spotify (Useful)
