Charging

very bizarre issue with charging using the usb cable - it does not charge connecting  it to either the pwoer outlet or a pc/laptop.

when changing the usb cable (any other cable from htc or samsung) it works. when using original sony usb cable connected to a laptip it fails on loading the driver, but succeeds in using any other cable.

the shop tests the cable without any issues connecting to a power source.

Sounds to me like you have a broken wire in your usb cable . tie it in a know and throw it away ..

He says that the shop tested the Sony USB cable.......so dont throw it away just yet!!!! Have you tried it in different USB ports on your computer, my laptop has a mind of its own when i use USB cables...sometimes it works with one port then the next day it wont & i have to change ports:smileyrolleyes:

I had one usb cable that was just flaky, but all the other usb cables worked everytime...
