Broken Display

Hi Guys,

I have a sony Xperia z2. It fell down when I was riding bike. Display is completely broken and I enquired in one of the sony service centers for replacement of the display.

They gave an estimation of 9k to 12k. 

Does it really cost so much ? Can any one please let me know how much it may cost to replace display?

Seems about right, you could DIY, but it will void the warranty.
