I recently within the last couple of weeks got a new Xperia L, everything was fine and I was listening to my music, I was using all my apps, typing... just doing the normal things with my phone then I turned off my music and locked the screen within less of a minute I tried pressed the power button to turn it back on again and ever since then its been a black screen but I can feel the lock screen when I put my hand on it, I can hear when I have messages coming through and the light at the bottom is still flashing to tell me I have messages! Its nearly been 24 hours and I have charged it over night thinking that could help, its done nothing, I've taken the battery in and out and tried to restart it but that hasn't helpped.
I can't think of anything else?
Any ideas?
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Sorry to hear about your phone. First of all try to remove the SIM cad and SD card from the phone and try to start it without the card inserted. If the behavior still persists, I would suggest that you try to update/repair the phone software using PC Companion:
http://www.sonymobile.com/update
In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".
Before repairing the software in your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to:
