Battery drops to 1% suddenly

Hi there,

I purchased brand new Xperia Active before a week and it starte showing battery related problem since then. When my phone shows battery level of 15%, it suddenly drops down to 1%, followed by phone shutting down. I have not rooted my phone. It is running on Gingerbread 2.3.4 and build 4.0.2.A.0.62.

Managing on 1200 mA is anyway becoming tough task for me and above that this issue is really irritating now Slightly_frowning_Face can anybody there has solution for it?

hi

hi Note the battery % level Then take the battery out of the mobile and reinsert it after 2 minutes and see if there is any change in the % if yes then most probably your problem is solved

Hey, I have tried doing it, my battery level was 35% when i removed and now after reinserting, it unbelievably shows 38%, i wonder from where this 3% hike came in :smileyconfused:.. any idea?

Anyway i am waiting my battery level to reach 15% now and lets see if shuts down again.

Nabeel, this time when it reached 17%, it drained off, so problem still persists Slightly_frowning_Face what's the next step? The phone which i used to love before a week is not not proving worthy becuase of this battery stuff.. Slightly_frowning_Face

i tried this....

complete recharge upto 100% , removed the battery for 5 minutes.. re-insert it...

battery was at 85% , charged it again to 100% , never got the problem again..
