A solution for : Top part of screen doesn't work!

Hi guys , I found a solution for the top part of screen problem . This method responded to me , so it may not work for you and it is just a suggestion . Anyway , at least , you can test this method to see whether it works or not!:smileysweating:

I think this problem is caused with connecting the phone via usb cable to PC! Do the procedures as following :

1)Connect your phone to PC via USB cable

2)Lock the phone while it is connected to PC via power button

3)Unlock the phone after a while via power button

4)Touch the top part of screen for several times like trying to open the statue bar.

5) If the top part of screen  begins to work , unplug the phone at once.

After 5 minutes trying to open statue bar , it worked and i unplugged it quickly ! Now it is working for me ...

I think when the phone is connected to PC again , the top part of screen freezes because of dozen of touches made by the phone itself.

This solution works well with android 4.1.

Top of the screen just stop working after I've close an App and I fear it was caused by a calibration error. The thing is that my phone was not connected to PC when it stop working so I was afraid that your solution will not work. And I don't want to send my phone to repair.

But I try your solution and it work !

hi i've tried to put my sony z3 in rice for 3day(worked for me), it's only solve top screen issue (cannot pull bar) but the screen keep touch randomly
