11.3.A.2.33 update now available

Today Sony released the following update via PC Companion. The things that I could find diffrent are:

1. Lowered lag.

2. AOSP updates (?) (please confirm this)

3. Updated Gapps

THIS DOES NOT FIX HEARTBLEED BUG!

There is a possibility that the phone is updated to 4.1.2 but I can't guarantee it as I haven't notice any version changes. Please reply if you found anything else

What's the size of the update?

Can't tell exactly but it was small. It took me around 5 to 6 minutes to download at 500kbps.

Updated to 11.3.A.2.33 today. Not much improvement in performance or UI visuals. Stock browser, Walkman, Album, Movies, and other stock and Sony apps show no major changes. Play movies, books, magazines and games are now stock in this new firmware. All bloatware apps were reinstalled with the update. The android version is still 4.1.1 and the heartbleed bug hasn't been corrected. I don't understand what this update is for. I think it is probably just to incorporate the Play apps I mentioned earlier into the stock firmware.

i have tried to update but the update process failed due to unkown error  so i was forced to discconect the phone and now i cannot turn on my device..it turns on and displays the sony logo and stays there..please help me out..i dont know wat to do.

Download and install Sony Update Service software on PC, then connect your phone and follow instructions. If it fails, you will have to take it to an authorised service centre.

A little less lag now, at least for me.
