Very valid question actually but sadly this is not something that will occur mainly due to the screen is not capable of displaying the refresh rates that you would get on the Bravia's. The other issue is going to be that there is no transmitter for the glasses to function so it would be tricky to change even via any sort of firmware update.

There are some third party applications that will simulate 3D (red/blue glasses) but still not as effective as what you would get from a Bravia. Hope that gives some insight on this.
