WF-1000XM3 sound skipping on MacBook Pro (OS Catalina)

I recently bought the earbuds and having the same issues. I already updated the firmware to the latest 3.0.0 and reset several times, but unfortunately it is still happening. It works fine with my IPhone 6, but skipping/minor pause happened quite often when I connect with my MacBook Pro (OS Catalina), it happened every 10-30 seconds. I also got replacement but still happening. I think it's something Sony should improve with their firmware? but my WH-1000XM3 headset works great with any of my devices.

I think that since the headphones work well with your iPhone, they can't be faulty. Having said that, Try setting the connection to prioritize stability (as opposed to quality) from Headphones Connect on your iPhone as the settings will carry on when you connect the headphones to your MacBook. If the stuttering is related to any sort of interference, you may notice some improvement that way.
