NW A45- Music on memory card not showing on Walkman

Well I bought a second hand A45 last week and seem to be having issues adding music to it.

Using the the Music Centre I have transferred my music to the memory card in the unit. When the Data base has built only half my music has transferred, yet everything is MP3 or MP4.

If I check the file folder its shows all the folders for each artist but they are empty.

I am using a new Kingston 256Gb card.

Any advise would be gratefully received.

Yes, MP3 and MP4, anything unsupported would be converted, but supported files aren't copying.

Is there a limit to how many files can be moved at once? I have over 10000 tracks I want to add.

Music center not good with too many songs transfert at the same time. do little by little like 100 by 100

You can also use Windows Explorer.
