Hi folks!
I have a strange problem with a Vaio VGN-BX195SP:
When in a text editor or even the Address Line in Internet Explorer, keypresses suddenly makes it type "by itself", lacking a better description...
For example, upon typing the first letter ("h", e.g.), it looks a bit like this:
"h0uzr0uzr0uzr444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444"
And no: theres no scroll lock / num lock activated, I dont even press a key anymore, the letters are entered without anything more I do...
At some point when typing, Caps lock engages on its own, too. This yields miraculously appearing capital letters...
Has anyone encountered a similar problem yet? Is this a hardware problem?
This kinda sucks, because the Sony support will work on the laptop for over a week again, which I would like to avoid...
Thanks a lot in advance!
Maybe, it 's a virus.
Have you a good antivirus installed?
Try to scan your whole system with an antivirus,
it's very strange for a keyboard to do something like that!
McAfee AntiVirus 8 Enterprise running on it with up-to-date virus definitions... no problem on the viral front 😞
Ooops! It's very strange!
You should try with the e-support...
they are quite slow (even to send you the mail with the credentials to log-in),
but I have no better ideas!
