Can anyone tell me if its possible to upgrade my 512mb of RAM to 1gig? I know the desktop is very limited with upgrades but is this at all possible?

Idid it, and it's a verry easy procedure. For information I put this ram a DDR SDRAM : KingstonTechnology 512MB PC3200 CL3 184-Pin DIMM the ref was KVR400X64C3A/512.
It's OK for me since 1 year ..... :smileygrin:

Yup.. same as me... no problem to upgrade to 1GB RAM.. but not over 1GB... just 1GB RAM..
