VAIO A115b - Problems with Boot Up

Hi, i have had my A115b for 3 weeks, today it suddenly when using Internet Explorer showed a blue screen with lots of writing on it, it was up for under a second and disappeared. The machine then by itself rebooted and then would not go into Windows XP, it said "Boot up Error". I then put the restore cd in and it came up with another error "Drive source failure" and asked to try restore again. I did once again, and it went through fine and now the machine goes into Windows. I am a bit concerned that the hard disk is not faulty with this machine (?). Does anyone know why this happens and also if i should get an exchange as im within 28 days of purchase. Thanks.

Does sound like a dodgy hard disk, does it say "operating system not found" at times too?

Second that, and if the hard-drive is the problem I believe you are entitled to an exchange. Failing that, it's covered under the warranty.
