I've boght this laptop last week, in Italy , where I live. I soon found out how difficult it is to work with the italian keyboard. I use programs where such characters as ~ {}... are to be continuously typed. Both my pc at work, and my previous laptop, have an US keyboard.I just can'get by with typing each and every time "Bl Num" ALT 123 "Bl Num"... I can of course switch to the US layout, but it is very confusing. Can I buy a replacement US keyboard for my laptop ? How and where ? It is a

A US keyboard will work just fine. If there aren't any places around you in Italy that sell them, there will be plenty on the internet that do. Just shop around.
I would be tempted just to get a USB one, swapping the keyboard is just a pain.

Oops I misread I thought this was the desktop forum [:">] sorry. I agree with Kee-Lo, it's a lot of trouble to get a laptop keyboard replaced. If you possibly can manage it, get an external USB one. Which is in fact what I meant first time round.
Oh now there's an idea.
As you know the layout of the US keyboard get some keyboard stickers (the RNIB do them) and put them on top of your current keys and change the mapping to US.
Thanks Kee-Lo, could you suggest me where to buy (online I guess) a set of those stickers ?
