Soundprolem

I search the driver for my soundcard. The PC thinks that I havn't a soundcard, or he thinks that i have already installed it. I dont know what to do. I want to uninstall the driver, which was already installed by windows, but i cant do this. Please help me.

I suche nach einem Treiber für meine Soundkarte. Der Vaio denkt, dass ich entweder keine Soundkarte habe oder das die soundkarte bereits installiert wurde. Ich habe schon versucht, die bereits von Windows installierte Soundkarte neu zu installieren, aber das Klappt nicht. Ich habe einen Vaio FE21B

I'm not sure what you are trying to do? If you want to turn the sound off, just mute your speakers.

If you really want to uninstall the sound chip (you do not have a sound card - it is a chip soldered into the main board) try this - however it will autimatically reinstall itself again on reboot.

Start>Right Click on My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager. Expand the section for 'Sound, Video and Game Controllers' and find your Intel Hi Def Audio chip. Double Click on it and select 'Driver'. You can see the driver being used, update or uninstall the driver. Using any driver other than the Sony OEM driver may cause complications.

As I said, I can't think why you would want to do this?
