Hi i turned my laptop on this morning and found that certain letters on the keyboard aren't working. the only numerical keys that are working are 2, 4, and 0. all of the letters are working apart from p and r. the enter, arrow keys, backspace aren't working either. the keys on the far left i.e. ctrl, shift and tab do not work, with the exception of caps lock.
im not sure what cased this at all as it was fine last night when i went to bed and wasn't working when i turned it on this morning. i'd appreciate any help you can give as at the moment im having to use the on screen keyboard and the actual keyboard.
Hmmm this is a very strange situation. The only cause that I could think about is somebody spilled water or other liquid over the keyboard while you were sleeping.
You might try to carefully remove the affected keys and then put it back again to see if it works. If it doesn't work you might need a new keyboard.
