I purchased a Sony VAIO VGN-TX17GP back in February 2006 when I was out in Thailand, it was an excellent purchase I have tried to register it on the Sony Europe site but it wont let me as soon as I enter my model and serial number it directs me to Asia that is fine when I want online support one thing I will say they have given excellent online support, The problem is when I want to find a local authorised service dealer so I can get my notebook serviced, I thought that would not be a big issue how wrong was I, I cant get a response from Sony UK. The notebook really does need a full service as having slight problem with viewing vid clips and playing DVD's as they crackle and break up, not running smooth.
The notebook is well travelled as it goes every where with me and has been throw around a bit but still works well it travels with me on my motorbike and lives in my saddles bags, I dont want to change it as love this version so would preffer if could get it fixed
Can anybody help please I live in Milton Keynes, Bucks, UK, so looking for a local Sony authorised service dept if not local nearest one would do please. even better if you can recommend the work they do
