Roxio DigitalMedia and Adobe problems on VGN-FE31H

Ever since I bought my laptop I have had several problems with the pre installed software installed on my FE31H laptop, main problems being:

1) when closing roxio digitalmedia, i get the following errors
*Mediahub.exe. the instruction at "0x0036ae50" referenced memory at "0x0025f5d0" the memory could not be "written"
*Mediahub.exe. the instruction at "0x12985383" referenced memory at "0x00000000" the memory could not be "read"
*RUNTIME ERROR R6025 pure virtual function call

these happen everytime I close the roxio program, I have tried reformatting my vaio and still get same errors

2) How do I receive my upgrade to Adobe Premiere elements Pro and Photoshop CS as stated on the "VAIO promotions" and "Upgrade your software" under the start program-All programs list. as the link in the advert doesnt work.

I have been trying for number of months now and thought I'd try this forum, as I have all these pre installed programs on my laptop and either cannot get rid of them or cannot use them.

Anyone who can help I would be so thankful as I am not that good at resolving error messages.

welcome to Club Vaio..

Have you installed Windows Media Player 11, if so try rolling back to Windows Media Player 10..

Does anyone know anything about the Adobe software upgrade? can they recommend is it worth keeping or shall I just uninstall it? as the version on the FE31H seems quite old now compared to the versions on the website,
