Hey all, I am planning on upgrading a few of the parts in my notebook and as it is out of warranty am planning on doing it myself. I have bought a new 500GB drive to fit into my FZ-series. I just wanted to know if there is any way of porting the recovery drive from my current HDD to the new one?
And also, would I need a driver package like I do for some linux distros for the media buttons and suc; if so where would I find them?
As a side note, the HDD I'm installing is a faster 7,200rpm drive. I was wondering if anyone else has done an upgrade of this sort and if they noticed how much hotter their laptop ran at as this is a concern for me.
