Hi natasa222 and welcome to Club Vaio.

Do I take it that you cannot turn the number lock off?
The start up preferences can be edited in the registry but if you cannot turn off the number lock manually it would seem to indicate that a key is stuck or not functioning correctly.

I pressed a key in the morning .....

Which key did you press?

Thank you for your quick answer. The problem is that I pressed a key by mistake.I did not realise which of all Also there seems to be a problem because when i open the internt explorer and press a key it keeps writing until the end of the line.Do you think I should go to the service? How can I enter the registry and fix this problem?

Welcome Natassa, try a system restore to the time before you made the number lock ..umm lock. Control panals/maintain/system restore on the left side. By the way. If Iran invaded the backside of Turkey.....Do you think greece would help?

Hey Turk ...no.... it was purely a joke about Greece ...grease get it. A really old and weak joke I must admit. That region is the most politically sensitive I agree but that was in no way my intention to ignite a contraversial thread.
I will say this though.... I am very disappointed the EU has decided to drop the first Muslim country from participating in the EU. It is unjust and will only increase divisions. We need cooperation not division and to get the hell out of Iraq
