Woke up this morning turned on my pc to find the usual Vaio logo pop up with a certain difference - big blue vertical lines behind the logo. It continues to load then suddenly the screen changes into a whole range of moving colours, similar to if i was to drag my finger across the TFT screen, until it resets its self. Once it reset it came up with a menu ( surrounded by red vertical lines in the background), that gave me the option to load in safe mode. Once i loaded in safe mode managed to do a virus check, found zero threats, i restart my PC and everything seems fine (at the moment).
I am wondering if anyone has a clue what may have caused it so i can stop it if it reocurrs, the only thing i can think of that was different today was that it was used for around 16 hours non stop yesterday and it is very hot at the moment - could the heat cause this problem? or something more serious?
