PlayStation 3 the video is not going into the tv

Hi, I Have PlayStation 3 the video is not going into the tv I contact a local company NiwTech https://www.niwtech.com where they offer to fix the PlayStation for me but they contact me back saying the video/graphics card(GPU) is faulty and they don’t recommend to fix it because they say the same issue with the GPU will happen soon as I use it again is this information right or should I try somewhere else?

Yeh, pretty much.

You can repair it, but it'll only be temporary.

I forgot to add, that any re-balling technique will only be temporary due to the warping under heat of the motherboard, and the use of (Thanks EU), lead free solder.
