outlook express and deletion of files

out look express seems to remove attachments and says in replacement of them oe has removed the unsafe attachment when i know that it is totally safe ???????

why would it do this when the files are fine they are just text docs but then it lets through the rar files ???????

Ben,

Did you check in Tools > Options > Security? There there's a setting to not save attachments which may be deemed as a virus.
